Aqua and Orange Tombo Drop Earrings

£65.00

These incredible orange tombodama beads are from the 1960s and steal the show on these earrings! Tombodama is a glass-decorating technique used since the 700s in Japan (that’s right, 1300 years ago). The swirly details on these ones remind me of hard candy, and make each bead completely unique. Some have red and orange swirls, some have green and blue, and they go great with the aqua glass beads, also made in Japan.

This collection is inspired by childhood memories, Showa-era Japanese toys and candy, and these earrings embody all of that for me ♡

Size: 5.6cm x 0.9cm at its longest and widest
